Sunil is a real estate professional with 30 years of experience. He is the founder director of Black Olive Ventures, a mortgage valuation services provider in India. Previously he co-founded and was the CEO at South Asian Real Estate (SARE), a Private Equity backed real estate development company. He has also served at senior positions with, ICICI Ventures, HSBC, DS Group, Colliers, Chesterton Meghraj and School of Real Estate as its associate dean and director.

Sunil has expertise across all domains and asset classes of real estate with strong track record of Turnaround Management and Start-ups. An industry mentor, thought leader, advisor & trainer, he was featured in the “Real People” section of 2010 annual edition of “Realty Plus” magazine.

Sunil has been part of various TV Shows and advisory committees of SEBI, CREDAI, GACS, SPA, CEPT, RICS and other institutions of repute. Currently, he is an Investment Committee Member of “Nisus BCD” real estate fund, board member of Nisus Finance AMC, Chairman of ITPI (Headquarter Building), “Council member” & “Faculty” at “Institution of Valuers,” and Convener of “International Chamber of Valuers”.

Sunil holds a degree in Civil Engineering, Masters in Urban Planning (Housing), MBA in Finance & Marketing, M.Sc. in Plant & Machinery Valuation and an Honorary Doctorate in Real Estate.

Mr. Sanjay Bansal

Mr. Bansal has approximately 29 years of experience in corporate finance. He is the Managing Director and a founder of Aurum Equity Partners, an advisory and investment banking firm. Mr. Bansal worked with KPMG and Arthur Andersen and then co-founded Ambit Corporate Finance where he was heading the “Alternate Capital” practice. Mr. Bansal is a seasoned Investment Banker an expert negotiator. He has led many marquee transactions to closure across industries such as FMCG, Automotives, Media, Real Estate and Hospitality etc.

Mr. Bansal is a Chartered Accountant and has undertaken a course on Advanced Management from Kellogg School of Business, Northwestern University.

Mr. Varun Goel

Mr. Varun Goel is the COO of Black Olive Ventures (“BOV”). He has over 16 years of experience in real estate sector mainly in real estate valuations, project planning, design, and site management.

Prior to joining BOV, Varun worked with Supratik Estates, a real estate development company in Bhubaneshwar where he was responsible for planning and designing of various residential projects. Mr. Goel has also worked with Architect - Raj Rewal Architects and was responsible for co-ordination of design and planning of various development projects. He is a member of Institution of Valuers, Institute of Town Planners - India, Council of Architecture. He was also the visiting Faculty at “School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi”.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from NIT Hamirpur & Masters in Housing Planning from CEPT Ahmedabad.

Mr. Jayant Sharma

Mr Jayant Sharma has approximately 10 years of experience in the real estate sector across various asset classes and has expertise in advisory, market mapping & analysis, proprietary research and real estate valuations.

Prior to joining BOV, he had experience in real estate consultancy, research and architecture with RICS SBE and InDesign Studio. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from GZCET, Bhatinda & Masters in City Planning from IIT Kharagpur

Mr. Rahul Kumar

Mr. Rahul Kumar has over 16 years of rich experience in real estate sector mainly as property valuation expert with real grass root knowledge of micro markets in Delhi NCR and Jaipur. He has been responsible for timely delivery of retail valuations at BOV. He manages the retail valuation team as a team leader – NCR and Rajasthan. Prior to joining BOV, he has previously worked with Rao Associate, Adroit Technical Services and Aggarwal & Associate as a valuation expert. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Magadh University.
